Starting May 7, 2025, your driver’s license or state issued ID must be a REAL ID to access the USEPA (AWBERC) facility.*
About REAL ID’s…
The REAL ID Act was passed by Congress in 2005 and will be enforced starting May 7, 2025. The act established minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards and prohibits certain federal agencies from accepting identification cards that do not meet these standards.
How do I know if I have a REAL ID?
Look for a star symbol in the upper right corner of your driver’s license or state identification card. If it has a star, it is considered a Real ID compliant card.
How do I get a REAL ID?
You can get a REAL ID at your local Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV). A Compliant driver’s license or ID Card requires documents to prove your full legal name, date of birth, Social Security number, proof of residency, and proof of legal presence. (Visit your state driver’s license website for details regarding document requirements.)
