Now you have two ways to access your CIFCU account(s) using your mobile device.
Text message. Request and receive your account information via text message. (Text message is for informational purposes only. You cannot conduct transactions via text. Message and data rates may apply)
Online Banking. Access your accounts through your mobile device’s Web browser at www.cifcu.org . Your phone will need to be Web-ready with a data package or Wi-Fi capability. (data rates may apply)
To access CIFCU Mobile Text Banking:
Sign-on to “It’s Me 247” (www.cifcu.org, Home Banking tab, Username, Password, Question)
Click on the “Go Mobile” button (far right on the bar in blue)
Click on “Text Banking Home” (left side)
Follow the Steps
Step 1 = Assign a Membership Nickname
Step 2 = Read and then Accept the Terms & Conditions by clicking the box
Step 3 = Read and then Accept the Fee Schedule by clicking the box
Step 4 = Click on Submit to continue
Step 5 = Click on the “Add New” next to “Currently Enrolled Phone Numbers”
Enter your mobile phone number (A text will be sent to this same phone number with your verification code.)
Enter your verification code and click “Enroll Phone”
What you can do with CIFCU’s Mobile Text Banking
Set up e-Alerts. Go to “It’s Me 247”, click on “My Messages” and follow the instructions
Send a text to get information texted back to your phone
Text BAL to 46247 (short for “It’s Me 247”). The return message gives the available balance on 3 savings &/or checking accounts tied to the phone number
Note: BAL requests count as 2 texts (1 to CIFCU, 1 back to you but the first 15 texts each month are Free!)
